These are recent projects that Dacing Tree has been involved with.
- Developed the Forages of Florida site, which accesses information from a SQL Server database.
It features automatically changing banner images and an interactive map:
The grasses and legumes detail page is a template, the contents of which are typed in on an administration page:
- Wrote a database-driven Virtual Earth mapping application for Shadfishing.com. For an example of a map in use by a third party see Maryland Angler's Network.
- Created an internal web-based reporting application using Server2Go for the National Mango Board. Working on a similar project for the National Watermelon Promotion Board.
- Solved Joomla database problems for cruisebug.com.
- Created an internal web-based method of managing photo selection and data entry for The Drost Project. This is the content management interface:
The interface is capable of keeping track of page composition stages (authoring stage, editing stage, etc.) and
allows managers to assign pages to specific authors or editors for content entry/modification.
The interface also generates the HTML pages that are used on the Drost Project site, for example:
- Converted Florida Sea Grant's Anchorage Inventory site from using hard-coded values to using a database, with searching features.
